Contact details such as email and phone numbers are stored electronically. Client treatment records are not digital and are stored under locked conditions.

All data is confidential and will not be shared with any other parties. However, if required data may be provided to other healthcare professionals on specific request.

You have the right to access this data at any time and to ask for any inaccuracies to be amended for up to ten years after your last treatment at which time the data will be destroyed. It is a legal requirement of the Federation of Holistic Therapists, who are my governing body and insurers, that client records are kept for this time.

If you feel your data has not been handled lawfully and or used in any way that is unreasonable you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
